Doherty Digital is a business run by Kyle Doherty in Co. Donegal, Ireland ("I", "me"). I am the data controller for personal data collected through this website, under the GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.
What I collect
When you use the contact form I receive your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your message, and your confirmation that I may use those details to reply. I use them only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to provide my services. The legal basis is steps taken before a contract, and then the contract itself. I do not add you to a mailing list.
I keep enquiry messages for up to 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as Irish tax law requires.
Analytics and cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies or marketing trackers. Analytics is not switched on. If I turn it on later, it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics only, which does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you.
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans and bots apart. Turnstile may set a security cookie for that check. It is not used for advertising.
Who processes data for me
Cloudflare hosts the website and runs the spam check. When email delivery is switched on, contact messages are sent with Resend. Those companies process data on my instructions and may process it outside the European Economic Area, using the safeguards in their data-processing terms.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@dohertydigital.ie. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission.
